Without YouTube I don't think I'd have the chance to see stuff like this. Never was huge on Herbie's 80's output, but this makes me want to re-evaluate.

Paul Spooner is an artist who creates automatons, or mechanically driven figures. It's not a field I know much about, really. But I had the chance to see some of his interactive work on display at the Visionary Arts Museum in Baltimore, Maryland.
You really have to see the work moving in person. They're like three-dimensional cartoons. This is Spooner's take on Manet's "Olympia". More examples here.
